Workspace Unlimited
An open-source, self-hosted server that lets AI assistants you authorize — such as Claude — work with your own Google Workspace data, on your instruction, on your infrastructure.
What this app does
Workspace Unlimited implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that connects AI assistants to tools. Once you sign in with Google and grant consent, an assistant you connect can — only when you ask it to — do things like:
- Search, read, and send Gmail messages and manage drafts and labels
- List, upload, and organize Drive files
- Create and edit Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms
- Manage Calendar events and Tasks
- Send Google Chat messages and cards, and browse Photos albums
Why it requests access to your Google data
The app requests Google Workspace permissions for exactly one purpose: to carry out the actions you (or an assistant acting on your explicit instruction) request — reading the messages you search for, sending the email you compose, editing the spreadsheet you name.
Your data is not used for advertising, profiling, or model training, is never sold, and is processed only on the server instance you (or your operator) run. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Self-hosted by design
There is no central service. Each deployment is operated by its owner: OAuth credentials are stored encrypted on that server, and nothing is transmitted to the app's authors. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, and the entire codebase is open for audit.
